Last weekend our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team took part in the ADCC Australian Championships in Sydney. Our team worked hard leading up to the event and we had a very successful day with the following results. Coach Richard took the gold in his division while James and Luke Mac both took the silver and Tim with the bronze medal. Our gym was also successful overall as we were ranked the 11th gym out of over fifty gyms at the event.
Our head affiliate academy Team Perosh Mixed Martial Arts took out the best academy with a massive 8 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze medals at the event while our head team RCJ Machado took the best overall team ranking.
We want to thank all our competitors for stepping up on the day and putting in all their hard work in their training. We also want to thank all our students who helped our team get ready and also everyone who traveled to Sydney to support the team. A special thanks also to all our coaches for getting the team ready for the competition and coaching on the day.
